Letters of Recommendation
Three sealed letters of recommendation must be completed by persons best able to assess academic and professional qualifications, including motivations and goals, and clinical potential (for Communication Sciences & Disorders applicants), and mailed with your application. If you are a recent college graduate, at least one recommendation should be from an academic source. Personal recommendations from friends or family members will not be accepted. Your application will be processed and reviewed with the three letters of recommendation that are submitted first. Applications will not be held for additional recommendation letters.
Submitting Recommendation Letters
Recommenders have the option of submitting their recommendations online directly through our website. When you apply online, you should register your recommenders through the application, at which point they will be sent an email directing them to the online recommendation form. You will be able to track when your recommenders submit their letters.
Submitting Recommendation Letters via Paper Copy
The recommendation form is available online through the PDF version of our application. Please request that the recommender sign across the seal of the envelope and mail it to you. You should then include all letters in your application package.
