While it is suggested that students have a major in mind when applying, majors do not have to be declared until the beginning of their junior year or before finishing 64 credits.

Can I carry a double major?

Yes, with most majors. However, it is more difficult to double major with some majors than with others. Majors in the Visual and Media Arts program are not permitted to carry a double major. Additionally, most majors with BFA programs do not allow for a double major within a four-year curriculum. Requirements for major programs in different schools must be completely fulfilled.
