  • Secondary School Report with an official high school transcript
  • One Teacher Evaluation from someone who has taught you in an academic subject (i.e. English, social studies, science, foreign language, or history)

Additional Requirements

Performing Arts

If you are applying to a Performing Arts program, you can only apply for September admission and you must complete the additional online requirements found at Stagedoor consisting of a theatrical résumé and, depending upon your major, an audition, portfolio/interview, or essay.

You may preview these major-specific requirements online but will need an Emerson-issued ID and PIN number in order to complete them—which will be sent to you by regular mail only after you submit the Common Application and Emerson College Application Supplement.

Film

If you are applying to the Media Production major for Film, you must complete one of the following two requirements:

  1. Register online at http://emerson.slideroom.com and upload a video of up to 5 minutes (less than 20 Mb) and statement/résumé describing your role in its production or,
  2. Mail a 5-10 page script (with your name and address) to the Office of Undergraduate Admission, 120 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116-4624.

Checking Your Application Status

After you submit both your Common Application and Application Supplement, we will mail you an Emerson-issued ID and PIN number. Using these numbers, you may check the status of your application materials online at Interactive Services
