StageDoor: The Online Resource for Performing Arts Applicants

Applicants must first apply for admission to Emerson College before applying to a performing arts program through the StageDoor website. We strongly encourage you to submit your college admission application online through the Common Application in order to expedite processing. Paper applications are still welcome but they take longer to process and could result in fewer audition or interview slots being available to you.

StageDoor is the resource for applying to the Performing Arts at Emerson College. Candidates for these programs must submit a résumé of theatre-related activities and either audition or interview, or submit a portfolio or an essay.

Your application for admission and requirements for your performing arts major must be completed by the application deadline (see First-year or Transfer application requirements).
