The Campus: Dining

No matter what you like to eat, chances are you will find it on campus. Emerson offers flexible dining options at two locations. Whether your menu includes rotisserie items, pizza, soups, and salad bar, or made-to-order deli sandwiches, stir-fry, grilled specialties, and desserts, we seek to provide quality, freshness, variety, and something for every diet.

Little Building Dining Hall

The Little Building Dining Hall, which holds approximately 300 people, is the main dining location on campus and is an all-you-can-eat facility designed primarily to provide students the meals included in their selected Board Plan. Emerson strives to create a warm, friendly dining space for students and faculty, with a diverse menu, so that everyone has a slice of home.

The serving area has four full-service stations: The Grill (including The Garden Grill), Homestyle Cooking, which includes everything from rotisserie to stir-fry, the Deli, and the highly acclaimed Vegan section LeGrain and Legume. In addition, the serving area provides a full, self-service Salad/Soup Bar, along with Pizza, Dessert Bar, Breakfast Bar and Fresh Bread station.

Emerson's Cafe

Emerson's Cafe, located at 80 Boylston Street, serves a wide variety of coffees, beverages, pastries, bagels, soups, and made-to-order sandwiches on a selection of breads. During the summer months, Emerson's Cafe also operates a sidewalk cafe on the corner of Boylston Street and Tremont Street in the Boston Common. Students and faculty may now pay using ECCash.

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Board Plans: From ECCash to Board Bucks - What it all means.

Emerson College offers a choice of three meal plans to meet the particular needs of its students. Each plan provides a standard number of meals in the Little Building Dining Hall, as well as "Board Bucks" which can be used instead of cash at the Little Building Dining Hall and the Little Building Convenience Store. All meal plan, Board Buck balances and ECCash transactions are processed on students' Lion Cards (student ID card) which can be used at any food operation facility on campus.
