Residence Life

Whether you're living in one of our two residence halls or in a Boston area apartment, you will find that you have the support and services of the Emerson community that you need to create your "home away from home". Half of our students live in campus residence halls. Some residents participate in special Learning Communities within the residence halls that are linked to courses and activities focused on interdisciplinary studies. You may be one of the first to live in our new Max Mutchnick Campus Center and Piano Row Residence Hall, an all suite dorm, which will house its first students in September 2006. Living in the Little Building, a traditional residence hall offering singles, doubles, triples and suites, means the convenience of having the dining hall, bookstore, and fitness center right downstairs.

Getting an apartment with your friends off campus means experiencing city life to its fullest. You might choose to live in Allston/Brighton (college-student-central), the North End (Boston’s Little Italy) or right around the corner from campus. No matter which neighborhood you call home, you will stay connected to the Emerson community by participating in all of our clubs and organizations, as well as through the services and programs sponsored by the Office of Off-Campus Student Services.
